GMAIL address variation options

Sometimes it's nice to have more than one email address, like when you're signing up for something but don't want to use your main address.

Gmail gives you a sort of in between options (at least until it's commonly used and spam people know how to deal with it.)  You can know the source of the mail and route messages based on the address.

You can add periods into your current address... or add a +something after your name part and before the @.

like..

my.mail@gmail.com

m.ymail@gmail.com

mymail+abc@gmail.com

will all be delivered to.. 

mymail@gmail.com
