Livelihood --- means of support or subsistence (WM)
When it comes down to it, a major end goal of much that we do in a day is to provide a place for us and our family to have shelter and nourishment. In the "modern" world.. these items are generally found indirectly through taking part in a project (a job,) getting a portion of that project's returns and exchanging the project returns with others for goods and services. We also do some "direct" work to support ourselves... change our own oil, wash dishes, mow the lawn, go to the store to get food, cook, small house repairs, etc. But primarily our "work" time is allocated to what we would call a job.
Jobs are not the only way to make living work. Even still there are many numbers of people living in the world without "jobs". And similarly the way the job culture commonly works, isn't necessary the only way a job culture could work.
This area is about jobs, working, and providing for your material needs. Your livelihood.
